What is this conference about?
It is authentically narrated by Sa’eed through his chain from Hibban bin Jabalah that the Final Prophet of Allah (SWT) Muhammad (SAW) said, ‘Indeed it is obligatory upon the Muslims to free their captives or to pay their ransoms.’
Currently, the Muslim Ummah is facing a dire situation, with thousands of our Muslim brothers being held captive by the disbelievers all around the world. The situation is further exacberated by the failure of the Muslims in general to respond to the appeals of the aseer (prisoners), and continuing with their lives unaffected by the severity of the situation in hand. Unfortunately, we now see how the disbelievers have increased their attack on Islam and Muslims by violating the honour of the believers, imprisoning Muslim sisters and furthermore being unashamed of these actions.
In light of this, a conference has been organised by sincere Muslims, to highlight the severity of the problem and demonstrate how every Muslim brother and sister, particularly in the UK can play a role in solving this current crisis.
